Aces Have Sellout, ECHL Attendance Still Strong

Bolstered by three crowds over 6,000 on Saturday, including a sellout crowd of 6,293 in Alaska and a season-high crowd of 6,118 in Bakersfield, the ECHL has drawn 890,002 for 236 games and is averaging 3,771 per game, up almost six percent from the ECHL average of 3,560 for the 210 games played during the first six weeks of 2002-03. The ECHL and WCHL combined to draw 937,222 for 250 games in the first five weeks of 2002-03, an average of 3,749 per game.
