PRINCETON, N.J. – Alaska Aces forward Barrett Heisten is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for November 7-13.
The 6-foot-1 and 195-pound Heisten scored eight points (2g-6a) and had a plus-minus rating of +7 in three games as the Aces went 2-1-0 at Idaho.
He began the week scoring two goals, including a shorthand goal and the game-winning goal, and adding an assist in the Aces 5-2 win on November 9. He had five assists on November 11, tying the ECHL season high and the Aces team record for both assists and points, as the Aces won 8-3.
The 25-year-old leads the Aces with seven goals, 14 points and five power-play points in 11 games and leads the ECHL in plus-minus rating at +8. Heisten played the last four seasons in the American Hockey League with Bridgeport, Utah and Hartford where he scored 80 points (35g-45a) in 256 games.
