Aces’ Scott Named
In Glas Co Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Alaska Aces left wing Mike Scott is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for Feb. 5-11, 2007.

The native of Calgary is on a five-game point streak and had four goals, including a power-play goal and two game-winning goals, and five assists as the Aces went 5-0-0 to extend their team record home-winning streak to 12 games. Alaska is 35-12-2 and leads the Brabham Cup race by nine points over Bakersfield.

After opening the five-game homestand with two assists against Fresno on Feb. 6, the 6-foot-1 and 195-pound Scott scored a goal on Feb. 7 and then had the game-winning goal and three points (1g-2a) on Feb. 9. He closed out the week with a power-play goal and the game-winning goal to tie his season high with two goals in a 6-1 win against Phoenix on Feb. 11.
