AHL Renews Contract Of Mill

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The American Hockey League announced that it has renewed the contract of vice president of hockey operations Jim Mill, who was the assistant director of hockey operations for the ECHL in 1997-98. Mill was a goaltender in the ECHL from 1992-96 with Raleigh, Huntington, Roanoke and Tallahassee and in 1996-97 was an assistant coach for Tallahassee.

Mill joined the AHL hockey operations staff in 1998 and was promoted to vice president in 2001. He is responsible for managing the officiating program and disciplinary process and developing the schedules for both the regular season and the playoffs while also serving as the league secretary to the AHL Board of Governors.
