Albany Assigns Paiement To Everblades

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that defenseman Jonathan Paiement has been assigned to the team by the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League and that defenseman Nate Hagemo has been released.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of Albany of the AHL and the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League.

The 23-year-old played one game for Albany and did not register any points or penalty minutes.

He had 17 points (3g-14a) and 28 penalty minutes in 22 games for Texas in 2007-08. He also played in the AHL in 2007-08 and had two goals and four penalty minutes in three games for Rockford and 13 points (2g-11a) and 30 penalty minutes in 37 regular season games and one goal and six penalty minutes in five playoff games for Hershey.
