All-Star Kelly Signs With Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed former Las Vegas right wing and 2004 ECHL All-Star Justin Kelly.

The Johnstown Chiefs are the ECHL affiliate of the Falcons and the Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.

In his first professional season in 2003-04, the 6-4 and 186-pound Kelly had 23 points (12g-11a) in 31 regular season games and one goal in two Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Wranglers and nine points (4g-5a) in 34 games with Lowell of the AHL.

In 2004-05, the 24-year-old Kelly had three points (2g-1a) in four games for Springfield and 65 points (23g-42a) in 57 regular season games and six points (2g-4a) in six playoff games for Adirondack in the United Hockey League.
