Anaheim, Peters Agree To Terms

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced that they have agreed to terms with center Geoff Peters who played in Reading in 2002-03.

Selected in the second round (46th overall) by Chicago in the 1996 National Hockey League Entry Draft, the 27-year-old Peters scored 28 points (15g-13a) in 40 games with the Royals in 2002-03. He played for Columbus and Trenton in 2001-02 registering 52 points (18g-34a) in 65 games.

The 6-1 and 205-pound Peters spent the last two seasons with Rochester of the American Hockey League where he scored 17 points (9g-8a) and had 125 penalty minutes in 57 games in 2004-05.
