Atlantic City Signs Rookie Weber

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies announced that they have signed rookie goaltender Jeff Weber and that Weber is expected to be in uniform for the team’s game at Trenton on Friday.

Selected in the eighth round (235th overall) by Buffalo in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Weber recently completed his season in the Ontario Hockey League. In 2004-05, Weber was 15-28-4 with goals against of 3.41 and a save percentage of .906 in 48 games between Barrie and Saginaw.

In 2002-03, Weber led OHL goaltenders in goals-against average (2.32) and save percentage (.925) as a rookie with Plymouth.
