PRINCETON, N.J. – Ryan Lang of the Augusta Lynx is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for Feb. 13-19.
The 26-year-old had six points (3g-3a) as Augusta went 3-0-0 to improve to 22-25-4 and sixth place in the South Division with 48 points.
After scoring two goals, including the game winner, in a 6-5 win against South Division leader Gwinnett on Feb. 14, Lang scored the game-tying goal to force overtime in the Lynx’s 6-5 win against Pensacola on Feb. 17. He extended his scoring streak to four games (4g-3a) with two assists in a 5-2 win against Columbia.
The 5-foot-10 and 175-pound center has 31 points (12g-19a) and is tied for second on the team with two game-winning goals while he is third with seven power-play assists in 48 games with the Lynx. He has also played one game in the American Hockey League with the Portland Pirates.
