After his college team lost more than two-thirds of its games, Clark Jones was burned out on hockey. His first pro season gave him little encouragement to keep going.
But the Baton Rouge Kingfish forward gave it another try. That is looking like a good decision.
Jones, who has six points in five games, is just one point shy of the total he posted in 32 East Coast Hockey League games last season, and he’ll try to help the Kingfish even their record when they play host to the Mississippi Sea Wolves on Friday.
