Binghamton Signs Holt

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed goaltender Chris Holt, who has played in the ECHL each of his first four professional seasons.

The Elmira Jackals are the ECHL affiliate of Binghamton of the AHL and the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (180th overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 24 year old was one of nine players who played in the ECHL and the NHL in 2008-09 going 3-2-0 with a goals-against average of 1.80 and a save percentage of .946 in five games with Alaska and appearing in one game for St. Louis. He also played in the AHL in 2008-09 and was 10-6-2 with a goals-against average of 1.73 and a save percentage of .931 in 20 games for Peoria.
