Bissonnette Reassigned From
Wheeling To Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Paul Bissonnette to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

The Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of Pittsburgh of the NHL and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (121st overall) by Pittsburgh in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old has one assist and 17 penalty minutes in 10 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and has 10 points (3g-7a) and four penalty minutes in 14 games with the Nailers.
