Blue-liner Cullity signs with Steelheads
BOISE, Idaho - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Friday that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with defenseman Patrick Cullity.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
The 25-year-old blue-liner split last season between the Utah Grizzlies and the AHL’s Springfield Falcons and Abbotsford Heat, spending the bulk of the season in the AHL. His rights were acquired by Idaho from Utah in June to complete an earlier trade.
Cullity had nine points in 44 games with the Falcons and added an assist in a five-game stint with the Heat, while skating in 20 games with the Grizzlies.
The Massachusetts native has also played professionally for Syracuse (AHL) and South Carolina after his college career at the University of Vermont.
