Bobkov went 7-1-0 with a 2.17 goals-against average and a save percentage of .919 in eight appearances during February
The 23-year-old won his first seven starts of the month and allowed two goals or less four times while making at least 23 saves in each of his appearances. Five of his seven wins during February came on the road. He was named ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Feb. 2 after going 2-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .966 in two appearances.
A third-round selection (76th overall) by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Bobkov is 11-5-4 in 20 appearances with the Grizzlies with two shutouts while ranking sixth in the league with a 2.20 goals-against average and ninth with a .919 save percentage. He has also seen action in eight games with Norfolk of the American Hockey League going 5-2-1 with a 2.45 goals-against average and a save percentage of .919.
A native of Surgut, Russia, Bobkov spent all of last season with Norfolk where he appeared in 28 games with a record of 11-17-0, a 3.13 goals-against average and a save percentage of .903.
