Bombers Receive Pair From Syracuse

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers have announced that right wing Steve Goertzen and defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen have been assigned to the team from Syracuse of the American Hockey League. Dayton is the ECHL affiliate of Syracuse of the AHL and Columbus of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the seventh round (225th overall) by Columbus in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Goertzen has three points (1g-2a) and 46 penalty minutes in 20 games with Syracuse.

Selected in the third round (65th overall) by Columbus in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Tollefsen has 50 penalty minutes in 16 games with Syracuse.
