Bombers Trade Collins To Gladiators

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that they have traded goaltender Chad Collins to the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for financial considerations.

The 24-year-old is 0-3-0 with a goals-against average of 7.54 and a save percentage of .780 in three games with the Bombers, who acquired him from Toledo on Nov. 8 in exchange for future considerations.

Collins was 2-1-1 with a goals-against average of 2.92 and a save percentage of .884 in four games with Toledo.

In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 24-year-old Collins was the Goaltender of the Year in the Southern Professional Hockey League after going 25-13 with four shutouts, a goals-against average of 2.48 and a save percentage of .922 with Fayetteville and was 2-1-0 with a goals-against average of 2.78 and a save percentage of .930 in four games with Augusta.
