Bridgeport Recalls Mole, Ogorodnikov From Ice Pilots

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League have recalled goaltender Michael Mole and center Sergei Ogorodnikov.

The Ice Pilots are the ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers of the AHL and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.

Mole is 13-18-3 with a goals-against average of 3.95 and a save percentage of .900 in 39 games for Pensacola and 1-5-0 with a goals-against average of 3.62 and a save percentage of .879 in 10 games with Bridgeport.

Selected by the New York Islanders in the third round (82nd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under AHL contract to Bridgeport, the 21-year-old Ogorodnikov has 40 points (18g-22a) and 30 penalty minutes in 42 games with Pensacola and five points (2g-3a) and 10 penalty minutes in 22 games with Bridgeport.
