Bullies’ Edwardson Loaned To Grand Rapids

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies announced that rookie All-Star center Derek Edwardson has been loaned to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League.

Edwardson played in Grand Rapids’ 4-2 loss at Rochester on Saturday. It is the second time that Edwardson has played for Grand Rapids, playing in two games in December.

Edwardson has also been called up to Bridgeport of the AHL, playing in two games. Atlantic City is the ECHL affiliate of Bridgeport of the AHL and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.

The 23-year-old Edwardson was co-winner of the accuracy shooting competition in the All-Star Skills Competition and he scored a goal in the National Conference’s 6-2 win on January 26.
