Bullies Sign Rookie Center Platt

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies announced that they have signed rookie center Geoff Platt, who is expected to be in the lineup on Friday when the Bullies host Reading.

The 19-year-old Platt finished second in the Ontario Hockey League with 45 goals while ranking 12th with 79 points in 68 games. He scored a goal and had two assists for the Western Conference in the 2005 OHL All-Star Game.

The 5-9 and 171-pound Platt played four seasons in the OHL with Erie, Saginaw and North Bay, scoring 192 points (106g-86a) in 248 regular season games and 10 points (9g-1a) in 14 playoff games.
