SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Bulls, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that the Bulls will take on the Stockton Thunder on Monday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. for a regular season game at HP Pavilion in San Jose. The game is free for Bulls ticket package holders and replaces the Wednesday, Jan. 16 game at the Cow Palace.
“We are extremely excited to host one of our regular season games at the home of the Sharks,” said Bulls President/Head Coach Pat Curcio. “We can’t thank the Sharks organization enough for providing us with this unique opportunity. We hope Bulls and Sharks fans can enjoy what will be a great experience on December 17.”
The Sharks Foundation will be hosting a “Toys for Tots” drive at the North and South Entrances of HP Pavilion. Guests can bring a new and unwrapped toy or make a monetary donation to support those less fortunate during the holiday season. All donors will receive a raffle ticket for prize drawings to held that night.
In celebration of hockey in the Bay Area, HP Pavilion will host its first-ever ECHL game. It will be the first ECHL game hosted by an NHL arena since the Peoria Rivermen took on the Wheeling Nailers at Mellon Arena, home of the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 20, 2002. The Bulls and Sharks connection now comes full circle. The Sharks played their first two seasons (1991-93) at the Cow Palace, before moving to San Jose.
