Byrne, Hemingway Called Up To Worcester

PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Rivermen announced that defenseman Trevor Byrne and right wing Colin Hemingway have called up to Worcester of the American Hockey League. Peoria is the ECHL affiliate of Worcester of the AHL and St. Louis of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (143rd overall) by St. Louis in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Blues, the 6-3 and 218-pound Byrne has 12 points (4g-8a) and a plus-minus rating of +16 in 19 games with Peoria and seven points (1g-6a) in 34 games with Worcester.

Selected in the eighth round (221st overall) by St. Louis in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Blues, the 6-0 and 195-pound Hemingway has 18 points (8g-10a) in 20 games with Peoria and is scoreless in four games with Worcester.
