Camelio Joins Predators Staff

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League announced that former South Carolina Stingrays equipment manager Jeff Camelio has joined the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League as an assistant equipment manager. The Mississippi Sea Wolves are the ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.

Camelio was the equipment manager for South Carolina from 1998-2002, including 2001 when the Stingrays won the Kelly Cup Championship, and he was selected to work the 2001 ECHL All-Star Game.

The native of Rochester, N.Y., who also worked as the clubhouse manager for the Charleston RiverDogs baseball team in South Carolina, spent eight years as an assistant equipment manager with Rochester of the AHL and four seasons with the professional indoor lacrosse team in Rochester.
