Capitals Reassign Daigneault To Hershey

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Maxime Daigneault to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Capitals of the NHL and the Bears of the AHL.

Selected in the second round (59th overall) by Washington in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Capitals, the 22-year-old is 13-10-7 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 3.15 and a save percentage of .905 in 31 games with South Carolina.
