Eric Levine is in his first season as the “Voice of the Jackals” on B2 Networks, the “Official Broadband Broadcast Provider of the ECHL,” and on the Jackals Radio Network consisting of 99.5 WOKN-FM “Today’s Hot New Country” in Elmira, N.Y., on 102.5 FM in Corning, N.Y. and on 98.3 WVIN-FM “Today’s Hits and Yesterday’s Favorites” in Bath, N.Y.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate broadcast hockey for three seasons on 91.7 WSUM-FM as well as broadcasting the 2009 NCAA Women’s Frozen Four in Boston for Clear Channel Madison.
He was the recipient of the student award for “Best Sports Play By Play” from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and during his tenure as the sports director for WSUM-FM established a dedicated online sports web stream.
Former ECHL broadcasters working in the National Hockey League include John Ahlers and Steve Carroll of the Anaheim Ducks, Tom Callahan of the Nashville Predators, Dave Goucher of the Boston Bruins, Chris Kerber of the St. Louis Blues, Dave Mishkin of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Bob McElligott and John Michael of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Rob Simpson, who is a producer/host for The NHL Network.
Former ECHL broadcasters working in the American Hockey League include Josh Fisher in Texas, Mike Kelly in Springfield, Eric Lindquist in Worcester, Pete Michaud in Norfolk, Mike O’Brien in Lowell, Joe O’Donnell in Houston, Jason Shaver in Chicago, Dan Weiss in San Antonio and Grady Whittenburg in Binghamton.
