Checkers Agree To Terms
With Doyle, Tkaczuk

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Daniel Tkaczuk and Frank Doyle, who was voted the Most Valuable Player at the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game while also being named to the 2004-05 ECHL All-Rookie Team and finishing third in balloting for ECHL Rookie of the Year in 2004-05.
The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League and Hartford and Lake Erie of the American Hockey League. Former ECHL player Jerry Dineen is the video coach for the Rangers while former ECHL coach J.J. Daigneault is an assistant coach for Hartford.
