K-Wings Host Golden Ice Game Saturday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo Wings announced that the Second Annual McDonald’s Golden Ice Game presented by McDonald’s and WIN 98.5 FM will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Wings Stadium against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
The K-Wings are the ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and Adirondack and Worcester of the American Hockey League. Former ECHL coaches Matt Shaw and Jay Woodcroft are assistant coaches for San Jose while former ECHL goaltender Corey Schwab is the goaltending coach for the Sharks. Former ECHL coach Roy Sommer is head coach of Worcester and former ECHL player David Cunniff is an assistant coach while former ECHL coach Kjell Samuelsson is an associate coach for Adirondack.
