Royals Sign Crane
Marquardt, Ross Assigned To Reading

READING, Pa. - The Reading Royals announced that they have signed defenseman Ryan Crane.
It was also announced that forward Matt Marquardt has been assigned to Reading by the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League from Providence of the American Hockey League and defenseman Jared Ross has been assigned to the Royals by Providence of the AHL.
The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Former ECHL coach Graeme Townshend is the skating coach for Toronto while former ECHL coach Gord Dineen is an assistant coach for the Marlies. Former ECHL coach Geoff Ward is an assistant coach for the Bruins.
