Mark McCutcheon had the biggest up-and-down week of his three-year pro hockey career last week.
The Steelheads forward sat out last Wednesday's contest at Victoria as he completed his two-game suspension for a game-misconduct penalty he incurred March 5 against Bakersfield.
Then he notched the first pro hat trick Friday night against the Salmon Kings.
Talk about your highs and lows.
"(The hat trick) felt good, especially in the first game back after the suspension," the 6-foot, 190-pounder said. "You feel like you almost need to show a little more."
