Aces Will Wear, Auction Mississippi Jerseys

ANCHORAGE – The Alaska Aces announced that they would wear Mississippi Sea Wolves jerseys for their game against the Fresno Falcons on Saturday and that the jerseys would be auctioned immediately following the game.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the “Mississippi Sea Wolves Rebuilding and Restoration Fund” which assists staff members and season ticket holders affected by Hurricane Katrina.
The Sea Wolves are located in Biloxi which suffered a direct hit from Hurricane Katrina, which is being called the worst natural disaster in the history of the United States. The Mississippi Coast Coliseum suffered more than $300,000 worth of damage, including the team offices and locker rooms as well as ice-making equipment and two Zambonis.
