SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League announced that they have agreed to terms with left wing Jon Mirasty, who played in the ECHL for Bakersfield as a rookie.
The Elmira Jackals are the ECHL affiliate of the Crunch of the AHL and the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League.
The 26 year old had five assists in 56 games for Bakersfield in 2003-04 and led the ECHL in 2003-04 with 32 major penalties while ranking second with 358 penalty minutes.
He had three points (1g-2a) and 181 penalty minutes in 55 regular season games and four penalty minutes in four playoff games for Syracuse in 2007-08.
