Bridgeport Hires Bertani

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League announced that they have hired former Johnstown Chiefs assistant coach Matthew Bertani as an assistant coach.
The Utah Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers of the AHL and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.
Former ECHL coach and executive Jack Capuano is head coach of Bridgeport while 2003-04 ECHL Coach of the Year and former ECHL player Pat Bingham is an assistant coach.
The 32-year-old Bertani has worked the last three seasons as director of recruiting for Penn State University.
