Charlotte’s Jamieson Named
CCM TACKS Player of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. – Charlotte Checkers left wing Dusty Jamieson is the CCM TACKS ECHL Player of the Month for October.

The 25-year-old became only the fifth ECHL player since 1997 to score a hat trick in back-to-back games, accomplishing the feat in the first two games of the season. He had three goals, including two on the power play, in a 10-3 win against Wheeling on Oct. 20 and three goals, including the game winner on the power play, in a 5-3 win against Wheeling on Oct. 21. He was named ECHL Player of the Week for Oct. 20-22 after finishing opening weekend with the league lead in goals and power-play goals.

The 6-foot-2 and 195-pound Jamieson had an assist on Oct. 26 at Florida and a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win at Pensacola on Oct. 31 to finish the month with 10 points (7g-3a) in five games.
