Checkers, Jamieson Agree To Terms

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that they have agreed to terms with Dusty Jamieson, who has led the team in goals each of the past three seasons.

In 2004-05 with the Checkers, the 24-year-old had 31 goals and 53 points in 56 regular season games and scored 10 points (2g-8a) while helping Charlotte reach the conference finals in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Selected in the fifth round (136th overall) by Montreal in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Jamieson began his professional career in Charlotte in 2002-03 scoring 45 points (27g-18a) in 50 games. He returned to the Checkers in 2003-04 and scored 46 points (24g-22a) in 59 games and was named as a replacement player for the 2004 ECHL All-Star Game, scoring a goal and adding an assist to help the Eastern Conference win 7-6.
