Checkers’ Jamieson Signed By Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed Charlotte Checkers left wing Dusty Jamieson to a 25-game professional tryout agreement.

Selected in the fifth round (136th overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old leads the ECHL with seven shorthand points (4shg-3sha) and is tied for 20th with 55 points (27g-28a) in 50 games.

In his fourth professional season, Jamieson has 199 points (109g-90a) in 215 regular season games and 10 points (2g-8a) in 15 Kelly Cup Playoff games with Charlotte while also playing six games in the AHL with Hartford in 2003-04.
