Checkers, Rookie Corsi Agree To Terms

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that they have agreed to terms with rookie forward Peter-James Corsi.

The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League and the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Corsi, who will turn 20 years old on Sunday, has played the last four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he had 170 points (72g-98a) and 296 penalty minutes in 253 regular season games and 26 points (11g-15a) and 53 penalty minutes in 32 playoff games for Halifax and Val d’Or.
