CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League have reassigned forward Bruce Graham from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League to Charlotte.
It was also announced that defenseman Jared Nightingale has been signed by the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.
The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the Rangers of the NHL and the Wolf Pack of the AHL.
The 25-year-old Nightingale has 14 points (3g-11a) and 177 penalty minutes in 63 games with Charlotte while also playing in the AHL where he has four penalty minutes in two games with Hartford.
Selected in the second round (51st overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Rangers, the 6-foot-6 and 235-pound Graham has 29 points (11g-18a) and 56 penalty minutes in 36 games with Charlotte and six points (1g-5a) and six penalty minutes in 24 games with Hartford.
