Chiefs On Stanley Cup Continues With Stewart

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – For the second straight year that the Stanley Cup has been awarded, a former Johnstown Chiefs staff member will get their name engraved on it.

Former Chiefs athletic trainer Chris Stewart is now with the Carolina Hurricanes, who captured their first championship with a 3-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 on Monday.

Stewart, who is in his first season with Carolina, was with the Chiefs for 8 1/2 seasons before joining the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League in December 2004.
