Chiefs Receive Deveaux From Springfield

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that forward Andre Deveaux has been assigned from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League while goaltender Morgan Cey has been recalled to Springfield and forward J.B. Bittner has been loaned to Portland of the AHL.

The Chiefs are the ECHL affiliate of the Falcons of the AHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (182nd overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and in his second professional season, the 21-year-old Deveaux has 11 points (6g-5a) and 135 penalty minutes in 59 games for Springfield.
