Collins Reassigned To Wheeling
Nailers Loan Virtue To Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League have reassigned All-Star forward Sean Collins to Wheeling.

The Nailers also announced that the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League have reassigned center Cam Paddock from Wheeling to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and that Wheeling has loaned veteran defenseman Terry Virtue to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Wheeling is the ECHL affiliate of Pittsburgh of the NHL and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

The 23-year-old Collins leads Wheeling and ranks third among league rookies and 13th overall in the league with 50 points (16g-34a) in 39 games. Selected in the ninth round (289th overall) by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Collins has one assist and two penalty minutes in eight games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
