Columbus’ Kostur Suspended One Game, Lee Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League announced on Wednesday that it has suspended Columbus goaltender Matus Kostur for one game and fined forward Mike Lee an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions in ECHL Game # 828 vs. Pee Dee on March 8.

At 8:20 of the third period, Kostur was assessed a game misconduct for instigation under Rule 56(a). Kostur is suspended for one game under Rule 33(a) Supplementary Discipline.

At 12:37 of the third period, Lee was assessed a minor penalty for tripping. After throwing his stick in the direction of the referee, Lee was assessed a misconduct and a game misconduct under Rule 41(a).

Kostur will miss Columbus’ game vs. Richmond (Mar. 15).
