Columbus’ Plourde Suspended Three Games

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has suspended Columbus center J-F Plourde for three games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 653 vs. Greenville on January 30.

At 16:13 of the second period, Plourde received a major penalty for cross checking and a game misconduct under Rule 50(a). Plourde is suspended three games under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

Called up to Toronto of the American Hockey League on February 1, Plourde will miss the first three games that Columbus plays upon his return to the ECHL.
