Columbus Reassign LaCosta From Dayton To Syracuse

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie goaltender Dan LaCosta to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

The Bombers are the ECHL affiliate of the Blue Jackets of the NHL and the Crunch of the AHL.

Selected in the third round (93rd overall) by Columbus in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Blue Jackets, the 20-year-old is 2-4-1 record with a 3.62 goals against average and a .886 save percentage in seven games with Dayton and 1-2-1 with a 3.13 goals against average and a .879 save percentage in nine games with Syracuse.
