Condors Acquire Irving From South Carolina

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that they have acquired forward Joel Irving from the South Carolina Stingrays in exchange for goaltender Davis Parley.

The 6-foot-4 and 225-pound Irving has five points (1g-4a) and six penalty minutes in 10 games with South Carolina.

In 2004-05 with Odessa in the Central Hockey League, the 29-year-old Irving had 26 points (8g-18a) in 59 games. Selected in the sixth round (148th overall) by Montreal in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, Irving played three seasons with South Carolina from 2000-03, scoring 130 points (55g-75a) and 448 penalty minutes in 185 career regular season games and 17 points (8g-9a) and 50 penalty minutes in 23 Kelly Cup Playoff games.
