Condors Acquire Kim From Long Beach

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that they have acquired center Alex Kim from the Long Beach Ice Dogs in exchange for financial considerations.

In his fifth professional season, the 27-year-old has four points (3g-1a) and 14 penalty minutes in five games with Long Beach.

The 5-foot-11 and 195-pound native of Fullerton, Calif. had 38 points (16g-22a) in 24 regular season games, missing 31 games after suffering a broken collarbone, and four points (1g-3a) in four Kelly Cup Playoff games for the San Diego Gulls in 2005-06.

He also played in the American Hockey League in 2005-06 where he had two points (1g-1a) in three regular season games with the Portland Pirates and one assist in six games in the Calder Cup Playoffs with the Milwaukee Admirals.
