Condors Donate $405,540 To Non-Profit Organizations

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that they donated $405,540 in cash and product to local non-profit organizations in 2005-06.

The Condors held four jersey auctions that combined to raise $86,950 which is the highest single season total for the team and an increase of 20 percent from 2004-05.

Fans threw 6,199 stuffed toys onto the ice at the annual Teddy Bear Toss while the Condors collected 2,000 coats during their annual Project Warm Families Coat Drive and more than 7,700 pounds of non-perishable food for The Salvation Army and Golden Empire Gleaners.
