Condors Hockey-Thon Raises Record $61,238

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that the third-annual Hockey-Thon raised $61,238 which is the largest amount raised in team history for a charity event.

The Hockey-Thon has now raised $105,494 for “Links For Life,” a local breast cancer resource center.

Organized by former Condors player Kevin Barrett, the Hockey-Thon was held on Feb. 16-17 and had 130 participants playing a combined 27 hours of hockey, including a celebrity game featuring former Condors players held prior to Bakersfield’s game against Long Beach on Feb. 17.
