Condors’ Oke Receives Special Hollywood Night

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that defenseman Andrew Oke will participate in a ceremonial puck drop before Thursday’s Los Angeles Kings game where he will be a special guide of Carmen Electra’s “Head to Hollywood” Night.

After missing the 2005-06 season due to a brain tumor, Oke returned to the ice with the Condors in 2006-07 but had his season ended in February when another tumor was discovered.

H2H was founded in 2005 by US Weekly editor and former Condors player Ken Baker, a pituitary brain tumor survivor, with the help and support of co-executive director Electra, whose mother died of a malignant brain tumor in 1998.

H2H provides comfort and an escape for survivors of cancerous and non-cancerous brain tumors.
