Coyotes Assign Rookie Latendresse To RoadRunners

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League have assigned rookie center Olivier Latendresse to the club from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

The RoadRunners are the ECHL affiliate of the Coyotes of the NHL and the Rampage of the AHL.

Signed by the Coyotes as an undrafted free agent on Sep. 15, 2004, the 20-year-old has four points (1g-3a) and 10 penalty minutes in 11 games with San Antonio.

The 5-foot-10 and 195-pound Latendresse played the last four years in the Quebec Major Hockey League where he had 289 points (98g-191a) in 246 regular games with Val-d’Or from 2002-06, including finishing fourth in scoring last season with 125 points (41g-81a) in 70 games.
