Coyotes Reassign Winnik To RoadRunners

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie center Daniel Winnik from San Antonio of the American Hockey League to the RoadRunners.

The team also announced that it has activated defenseman Brian Yandle from injured reserve and that the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League have recalled forward James Hiebert.

Selected in the ninth round (265th overall) by Phoenix in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Coyotes, the 22-year-old Winnik has 18 points (8g-10a) in 53 games with San Antonio and six assists in four games with the RoadRunners.
