Cyclones’ Deitsch Called Up To Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that center Jason Deitsch has been called up to the American Hockey League by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and that he is expected to play for the Penguins on Wednesday at Norfolk.

The Cyclones also announced that rookie goaltender Ben Gray has been traded to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for future considerations.

It is the first time that the 26-year-old Deitsch, who has 57 points (23g-34a) in 66 games for the Cyclones, has been called up to the AHL in his two-year professional career.

Cincinnati is the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.
